Pressure, Pay, Additional Responsibilities Are All Part of a Promotion

posted on 16 December 2012

Having been promoted from Assistant Marketing Director to Executive Marketing Director sure has a lot of perks. One would be the car (a Toyota Vios) that was provided to her the day after she signed the new contract for her promotion. Evangelyn has been working real hard for this promotion and we all think she deserves it, the pay increase and the additional responsibility. One of the things that she has been working on ever since she got promoted has something to do with the company car tax planner and from the looks of it, this task seems to be getting on her nerves. Stella said that it is only normal for her to feel that way since its the first task she has to complete as soon as possible and Evangelyn has this strong urge to prove herself to her boss that it was a good move to promote her. Stella that lucky for us we do not have to put up with that kind of pressure living the kind of life that we are living now.

In Need of a Vauxhall Car

posted on 18 October 2012

I was in need for a car. So since I needed a Vauxhall, I started off at the dealership. They have neat cars, both new and pre-owned certified. I went and test drove some. I noticed that the prices were a bit higher than I had wanted to pay. So I decided to try an alternative. So off to the private sellers. That is when it got interesting. I met all kinds of people through private ads. A lot of them were legitimate. People who were really anxious to sell their car, and tried to sell the features, the high points of the cars, the maintenance history and the pros. Some were willing to help you with the paperwork, a few had sob stories and some I really wanted to help them but I had to be business-like and go for what I wanted. It was an interesting experience. At the end, I did find the car I liked and we haggled a bit about the pricing. But I always had an alternative plan, that is a second choice to go back to. As for tips, the usual, try and see the car in broad daylight. Dealerships are fine because they till take care of most things but the prices there are higher. I was surprised by how much the private owners went out of their way to get the car ready for sale. Most of the cars were neat and really cleaned up. I went to an Auto parts store and ran a diagnostic on it, just wanted to know what problems might come up on the car. Finally, I did the transaction at the bank, I had the emails and contacts info. on the owners in case I had further questions and to make sure they were real. We drew up a couple of paperwork and I asked lots of questions about the history on the car. Straightforward answers meant straight-forward deal. If they were reluctant to answer or hesitant, be hesitant to give them your money. That was my experience!

Car Tax Disc Holder is the European Vanity Plate

posted on 7 October 2012

The United States has you pay a registration and state tax for your vehicle. We get at sticker for our license plates and an inspection sticker for the front window. My friend from England was telling me she got a pug car tax disc holder. I had never heard of a tax disc holder. I was totally confused until she explained that the car tax disc was their registration and inspection sticker similar to our stickers we use on our license plate and window. The only difference is they can place the sticker onto a holder. I was still a bit confused. The next month I got in the mail a car tax disc holder. It was of a pug sticking his tongue out. It was so cute. The note she sent was place the sticker or as they call it a disc on my gps. The holder is similar to our vanity plates. You can get disc to place on your window in the back as well. I researched the car tax disc holder and found I was not the only American that was confused by what it was.

My Experience with a Van Driver in France

posted on 11 September 2012

I sometimes wonder what I would have done without the assistance of Mr. Vincent Banning. He was the van driver assigned to me by the van rental company I contracted during my holidays in France. The van itself was super-comfortable with really wonderful van seats. He was a helpful companion during my tour of the country. He made me feel secured and he being a native also made me relaxed because he was always there to assist me. His choices of places to visit were excellent and I enjoyed every moment I spent in France. His recommendations of food were also great. Even though I was far younger than him, he was very respectful and took his job seriously. He was an excellent story teller and was able to keep me awake during the road trips. I love to travel to other countries to experience all the different cultures. Of all the drivers that I have had their company, Mr. Vincent Banning stands out among the rest with his great personality.

Living In Exile And It's Difficulties .

posted on 9 June 2012

Living in exile isn't easy as some countries political or economic standards do not totally support life in exile. In the part of sub-Saharan Africa living in exile isn't so much new to them some of this condition which are forced by some conditions or either imposed by the people themselves. This people have so much to tackle in their life besides car tax and tags calculator unlike the western world. But the funny thing is that majority of those who go on these exile have little or even nothing to return to in their own countries and even if they do , their own government does not really want them back. What people don't know before going on exile is that living in exile is painful and horrible. Memory fades and the thing you used to know about your former habitats completely begin to give way. I doubt if this people realize that before they move but then if there is nothing to lose many will go into exile for so many reasons, but at long run survival is for the fittest.

About Dirt Bike Racing and Trick Competitions

posted on 4 February 2012

Motocross racing and biking combines the agility of traditional bicycling with the speed of a motorcycle. Instead of racing on tracks, motocross riders use off road tracks. Judging the inconsistency of the terrain and going as fast as possible over it is part of the sport. There are a number of national and international competitions for amateur and professional motocross racers who take their bikes off-road, and several others for Motocross tricks and freestyle acrobatics. The acrobatic or Freestyle Motocross and Supercross events at the ESPN sponsored X-Games are among the most popular. Freestyle moto was first introduced to a worldwide audience in 1999, combining the death defying tricks of the BMX events with the high speeds of Motocross racing in one event where riders compete against each other to create the most impressive routine. Their colourful motocross gear they wear only adds to the occasion. Even more exhilarating than Freestyle is the Supercross event where Motocross racers go through an obstacle course racing one another side by side and taking huge jumps.
